St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York

This is the ceiling inside St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York. I love this church. I come here every time I'm in New York. It's big and old and makes me feel nostalgic and it smells like a church. I can't think of the words to describe the "church smell", but if you're catholic, you know what I mean. This church contains SO MANY things that remind me of my childhood.
The collection baskets.

The kneeler.

Old wood.

Lighting candles for loved ones. I lit the one on the top
right for my dad. I miss him so....

People deep in prayer.

When I'm here, I feel like the Saints really are watching over us. It's a good feeling.
Thanks New York for taking such great care if this wonderful old church!
